Remarkablogger, American Idol and Me

Remarkablogger, American gtzenbild and Me Remarkablogger, American Idol and Me I read this post from Michael Martine (aka Remarkablogger) while half-watching American Idol.Yeah, yeah I know Idol is cheesy. There are better things to do with my time. I know. But I watch it anyway, so shoot me. Ive watched it for 4 years actually and Im to the point where I can tell who is going to do well without even trying. Its leid about talent or singing ability. Its about who has the clearest idea of who they are musically. It may sound odd, but authenticity is key to success, even on a reality TV show that so many people see as fake.Selling Vacuum CleanersWhich is what Michael wrote about in his post. He used to be a vacuum cleaner salesman and he hated it. Read his whole post to find out why (its a great read) but the bottom-line was that he knew he was in the wrong job. He didnt hate the vacuums he was selling he just hated door-to-door sales because it wasnt authentically who he was. He cal ls how he felt living a lie.I know what he means. For a long time I stayed in a job that actually made me unhappy because it paid well. I was an HR exec and had risen up through the ranks to serve on the executive leadership team. I was never entirely happy in HR but I always thought that the next promotion would be the one that changed how I felt about my job. It never did because it just wasnt right for me. There were too many things about HR that required me to mute parts of my personality or do things I didnt enjoy doing.Starting my own business meant taking a big pay cut, not to mention a big risk, but I couldnt be happier that I did it. Because I enjoy my work now that I am no longer living a lie.But What About the Recession?Perhaps it seems nuts to think about finding work that makes you happy at a time when so many people are just desperate to find (or hang on to) any job. But I dont think it is. I think that times like these are exactly the times that give us an opportunity to reevaluate, because they show how tenuous everything is anyway. If youre staying in a job just because it pays well, now you realize that its not secure anyway. It could be gone tomorrow and then what?If youre in a job that doesnt reflect who you are and what you really love to do, start making plans to leave it. Decide what you do love and use your spare time to work towards that. Just because you cant afford to walk out and then start a search doesnt mean you cant start a search anyway. And if youre currently looking for a job, make happiness a part of the equation. Even if you have to take an emergency job to pay some bills, dont let that dissuade you from the long-term goal of finding work you love. Its not just a good idea because you will feel better. Its a good idea because you will be far more successful doing something that is authentically you than struggling along in a field that you dont find personally rewarding.Oh and as for American Idol this guy will do well. And this one. You can take that to the bank

Top 6 Robotic Applications in Medicine

Top 6 Robotic Applications in Medicine Top 6 Robotic Applications in Medicine Top 6 Robotic Applications in MedicineAccording to a recent report by Credence Research, the global medical robotics market was valued at $7.24 billion in 2015 and is expected to grow to $20 billion by 2023. A key driver for this growth is demand for using robots in minimally invasive surgeries, especially for neurologic, orthopedic, and laparoscopic procedures. As a result, a wide sortiment of robots is being developed to serve in a variety of roles within the medical environment. Robots specializing in human treatment include surgical robots and rehabilitation robots. The field of assistive and therapeutic robotic devices is also expanding rapidly. These include robots that help patients rehabilitate from serious conditions like strokes, empathic robots that assist in the care of older or physically/mentally challenged individuals, and industrial robots that take on a variety of routine tasks, such as ster ilizing rooms and delivering medical supplies and equipment, including medications.Below are six top uses for robots in the field of medicine today.1. TelepresencePhysicians use robots to help them examine and treat patients in rural or remote locations, giving them a telepresence in the room. Specialists can be on call, via the robot, to answer questions and guide therapy from remote locations, writes Dr. Bernadette Keefe, a Chapel Hill, NC-based healthcare and medicine consultant. The key features of these robotic devices include navigation capability within the ER, and sophisticated cameras for the physical examination.A robotic surgical system controlled by a surgeon from a console. Image Wikimedia Commons2. Surgical AssistantsThese remote-controlled robots assist surgeons with performing operations, typically minimally invasive procedures. The ability to manipulate a highly sophisticated robotic obere extremitt by operating controls, seated at a workstation out of the operating room, is the hallmark of surgical robots, says Keefe. Additional applications for these surgical-assistant robots are continually being developed, as more advanced 3DHD technology gives surgeons the spatial references needed for highly complex surgery, including more enhanced natural stereo visualization, combined with augmented reality.3. Rehabilitation RobotsThese play a crucial role in the recovery of people with disabilities, including improved mobility, strength, coordination, and quality of life. These robots can be programmed to adapt to the condition of each patient as they recover from strokes, traumatic brain or spinal cord injuries, or neurobehavioral or neuromuscular diseases such as multiple sclerosis. Virtual reality integrated with rehabilitation robots can also improve balance, walking, and other motor functions. 4. Medical Transportation RobotsSupplies, medications, and meals are delivered to patients and staff by these robots, thereby optimizing communication betw een doctors, hospital staff members, and patients. Most of these machines have highly dedicated capabilities for self-navigation throughout the facility, states Manoj Sahi, a research analyst with Tractica, a market intelligence firm that specializes in technology. There is, however, a need for highly advanced and cost-effective indoor navigation systems based on sensor fusion location technology in order to make the navigational capabilities of transportation robots more robust.Upper limb rehabilitation. Image Center for Applied Biomechanics and Rehabilitation Research, National Rehabilitation Hospital, Washington DC5. Sanitation and Disinfection RobotsWith the increase in antibiotic-resistant bacteria and outbreaks of deadly infections like Ebola, more healthcare facilities are using robots to clean and disinfect surfaces. Currently, the primary methods used for disinfection are UV light and hydrogen peroxide vapors, says Sahi. These robots can disinfect a room of any bacteria and viruses within minutes.6. Robotic Prescription Dispensing SystemsThe biggest advantages of robots are speed and accuracy, two features that are very important to pharmacies. Automated dispensing systems have advanced to the point where robots can now handle powder, liquids, and highly viscous materials, with much higher speed and accuracy than before, says Sahi. Future ModelsAdvanced robots continue to be designed for an ever-expanding range of applications in the healthcare space. For example, a research team led by Gregory Fischer, an associate professor of mechanical engineering and robotics engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, is developing a compact, high-precision surgical robot that will operate within the bore of an MRI abtaster, as well as the electronic control systems and software that go with it, to improve prostate biopsy accuracy. To develop robots that can work inside an MRI scanner, Fischer and his team have had to overcome several significant technical ch allenges. Since the MRI scanner uses a powerful magnet, the robot, including all of its sensors and actuators, must be made from nonferrous materials. On top of all this, we had to develop the communications protocols and software interfaces for controlling the robot, and interface those with higher-level imaging and planning systems, says Fischer. The robot must be easy for a non-technical surgical team to sterilize, set up, and place in the scanner. This all added up to a massive systems integration project which required many iterations of the hardware and software to get to that point. In other research, virtual reality is being integrated with rehabilitation robotsto expand the range of therapy exercise, increasing motivation and physical treatment effects. Exciting discoveries are being made with nanoparticles and nanomaterials. For example, nanoparticles can traverse the blood-brain barrier. In the future, nanodevices can be loaded with treatment payloads of medicine that can be injected into the body and automatically guided to the precise target sites within the body. Soon, ingestible, broadband-enabled digital tools will be available that use wireless technology to help monitor internal reactions to medications.Existing technologies are being combined in new ways to streamline the efficiency of healthcare operations, says Keefe. While at the same time, emerging robotic technologies are being harnessed to enable intriguing breakthroughs in medical care.Mark Crawford is an independent writer.Existing technologies are being combined in new ways to streamline the efficiency of healthcare operations.Dr. Bernadette Keefe, Consultant

Ellen DeGeneres As you grow, youll realize the definition of success changes

Ellen DeGeneres As you grow, youll realize the definition of success changesEllen DeGeneres As you grow, youll realize the definition of success changesIts graduation season, and we here at Ladders have decided to take a look back and showcase some past commencement addresses that stand the test of time. Below is the full transcript of Ellen DeGeneres commencement address to Tulanes Class of 2009Thank you, President Cowan, Mrs. President Cowen distinguished guests, undistinguished guests, you know who you are, honored faculty and creepy Spanish teacher. And thank you to all the graduating class of 2009, I realize most of you are hungover and have splitting headaches and havent slept since Fat Tuesday, but you cant graduate til I finish, so listen up.When I welches asked to make the commencement speech, I immediately said yes. Then I went to look up what commencement meant which would have been easy if I had a dictionary, but most of the books in ur house are Portias, and theyre all w ritten in Australian. So I had to break the word down myself, to find out the meaning.Commencement common, and cement, common cement. You commonly see cement on sidewalks. Sidewalks have cracks, and if you step on a crack, you break your mothers back. So theres that. But Im honored that youve asked me here to speak at your common cement.I thought that you had to be a famous alumnus, alumini, aluminum, alumis you had to graduate from this school. And I didnt go to college here, and I dont know if President Cowan knows, I didnt go to any college at all, any college. And Im elend saying you welchested your time, or money, but look at me, Im a huge celebrity.Itscommencement seasonFollow Ladders Commencement Addresses magazine on Flipboard to watch and read all of the most inspiring speeches from this year and years past.Although I did graduate from the school of hard knocks, our mascot welches the knockers. I spent a lot of time here growing up. My mom worked at Newcomb and I would go t here every time I needed to steal something out of her purse. But why am I here today? Clearly not to steal, youre too far away and Id never get away with it.Im here because of you. Because I cant think of a more tenacious, more courageous graduating class. I mean, look at you all, wearing your robes. Usually when youre wearing a robe at 10 in the morning, it means youve given up. Im here because I love New Orleans. I was born and raised here, I spent my formative years here, and like you, while I was living here I only did laundry six times. When I finished school, I was completely lost and by school, I mean middle school, but I went ahead and finished high school anyway. And I really, I had no ambition I didnt know what I wanted to do. I did everythingfrom I shucked oysters, I was a hostess, I was a bartender, I was a waitress, I painted houses, I sold vacuum cleaners I had no idea and I thought Id just finally settle in some job and I would make enough money to pay my rent, maybe have basic cable, maybe not, I didnt really have a plan, my point is that, by the time I was your age, I really thought I knew who I was but I had no idea. Like for example, when I was your age, I was dating men. So what Im saying is, when youre older, most of you will be gay. Anyone writing this stuff down? Parents?Anyway, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and the way I ended up on this path was from a very tragic event. I was maybe nineteen, and my girlfriend at thetime was killed in a car accident. And I passed the accident, and I didnt know it was her and I kept going and I found out shortly after that, it was her. And I was living in a basement apartment I had no money I had no heat, no air, I had a mattress on the floor and the apartment was infested with fleas. And I was soul-searching, I was like, why is she suddenly gone, and there are fleas here? I dont understand, there must be a purpose and wouldnt it be so convenient if we could pick up the phone and call God and ask these questions. And I started writing and what poured out of me was an imaginary conversation with God, which was one-sided and I finished writing it and I looked at it and I said to myself, and I hadnt even been doing stand-up, ever, there was no club in town. I said, Im going do this on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carsona- at the time he was the king- and Im going be the first woman in the history of the show to be called over to sit down. And several years later, I was the first woman in the history of the show, and only woman in the history of the show to sit down, because of that phone conversation with God that I wrote. And I started this path of stand-up and it was successful and it was great but it was hard because I was trying to please everybody and I had this secret that I was keeping, that I was gay. And I thought if people found out they wouldnt like me, they wouldnt laugh at me. Then my career turned into, I got my own sitcom, and that was very successful, another level of success. And I thought, what if they find out Im gay, then theyll never watch, and this was a long time ago, this was when we just had white presidents but anyway, this was back many years ago and I finally decided that I was living with so much shame, and so much fear, that I just couldnt live that way anymore and I decided to come out and make it creative. And my character would come out at the same time, and it wasnt to make a political statement, it wasnt to do anything other than to free myself up from this heaviness that I was carrying around, and I just wanted to be honest. And I thought, Whats the worst that could happen? I can lose my career. I did. I lost my career. The show was cancelled after six years without even telling me I read it in the paper. The phone didnt ring for three years. I had no offers. Nobody wanted to touch me at all. Yet, I was getting letters from kids that almost committed suicide, but didnt because of what I did. And I realized th at I had a purpose. And it wasnt just about me and it wasnt about celebrity, but I felt like I was being punished and it was a bad time, I was angry, I was sad, and then I was offered a talk show. And the people that offered me the talk show tried to sell it. And most stations didnt want to pick it up. fruchtwein people didnt want to buy it because they thought nobody would watch me. Really when I look back on it, I wouldnt change a thing.I mean, it was so important for me to lose everything because I found out what the most important thing is, is to be true to yourself. Ultimately, thats whats gotten me to this place. I dont live in fear, Im free I have no secrets and I know Ill always be ok, because no matter what, I know who I am. So In conclusion, when I was younger I thought success was something different. I thought when I grow up, I want to be famous. I want to be a star. I want to be in movies. When I grow up I want to see the world, drive nice cars, I want to have groupies. To quote the Pussycat Dolls. How many people thought it was boobies, by the way? Its not, its groupies. But my idea of success is different today. And as you grow, youll realize the definition of success changes. For many of you, today, success is being able to hold down 20 shots of tequila. For me, the most important thing in your life is to live your life with integrityand not to give into peer pressure to try to be something that youre not, to live your life as an honest and compassionate person, to contribute in some way. So to conclude my conclusion, follow your passion, stay true to yourself. Never follow anyone elses path, unless youre in the woods and youre lost and you see a path andby all means you should follow that. Dont give advice, it will come back and bite you in the ass. Dont take anyones advice. So my advice to you is to be true to yourself and everything will be fine. And I know that a lot of you are concerned about your future, but theres no need to worry. The eco nomy is booming, the job market is wide open, the planet is just fine. Its going be great. Youve already survived a hurricane. What else can happen to you? And as I mentioned before, some of the most devastating things that happen to you will teach you the most. And now you know the right questions to ask in your first job interview. Like, Is it above sea level? So to conclude my conclusion that Ive previously concluded, in the common cement speech, I guess what Im trying to say is life is like one big Mardi Gras. But instead of showing your boobs, show people your brain, and if they like what they see, youll have more beads than you know what to do with and youll be drunk, most of the time. So the Katrina class of 2009, I say congratulations and if you dont remember a thing I said today, remember this, youre going to be ok, dum de dumdumdum, just dance.

Changes to the Skilled Migration List targets only the highly skilled

Changes to the Skilled Migration List targets only the highly skilled Changes to the Skilled Migration List targets only the highly skilledPosted October 13, 2011, by Andrea Riddell Immigration and Citizenship minister, Senator Chris Evans, has put forward a newer, shorter Skilled Migration List (SOL) following advice provided by Skills Australia. The new list, which has shed over 200 occupations, is intended to specifically target the medium- and long-term demands of the Australian labur market. Jobs that have failed to make the list this time include hairdresser, acupuncturist, journalist and cook, while jobs in engineering, nursing and medicine are featured heavily. New English language requirements will also make it harder for trade applicants to gain residency, while onshore workers will be aided with a new job-ready program. First and foremost, young Australians should be trained and given the opportunity to fill existing job vacancies, Senator Evans said in a statement. The ch anges will attract a more highly skilled migration demographic and stop people applying for permanent residency on the back of low-value education courses. Senator Evans states that the changes will ensure that the migration program is demand-driven rather than supply-driven and will target areas where there are shortages of highly skilled workers. Through a targeted migration program, the Rudd Government will attract skilled migrants of the highest calibre and deliver people with real skills to meet real need in our economy, says Evans. The new SOL will come into place from July 1 with the intention of being updated every year. The changes are only directed towards the General Skilled Migration (GSM) program and will not affect employer-sponsored permanent or temporary visas. How to gain the advantage during your next presentation

How to gain the advantage during your next presentationHow to gain the advantage during your next presentationThere was a time when classes in public speaking, leadership, and other so-called soft skills were considered a nuisance or something to be tolerated. Thankfully, such attitudes have shifted. To cite one example, a recent study shows that when companiesconnect emotionallywith their customers, schlussverkauf growth accelerates. But we dont need a study to prove that connecting on a human level is the cornerstone of successful geschftliches miteinander communication and a skill to be cultivated.Today, most geschftlicher umgang professionals see the value in connecting with a purpose. After working with geschftsleben leaders to accomplish specific goals like acquiring the next piece of big business or persuading legislators to work on a specific policy change, I decided to compile (almost) everything Ive learned throughout my career into a goal-oriented, strategy-focused book.In the following blog post, I present the CliffsNotes - or StephaniesNotes - version of my bookTalk on Water Attaining the Mindset for Powerhouse Presentations. These highlights will give you a head start in preparing for your next big communication moment. Ultimately though, if youre looking for a real competitive edge and to gain an unfair competitive advantage, I do suggest reading the whole book. Are you ready to talk on water?Connection and opportunityOur heads are often so filled with the dos and donts of giving a business presentation that we can easily forget we are speaking to real people. Once weve lost our bearings, you can bet weve lost the connection to ourselves, our message or our audience. The power of connection is vital to business communication. Indeed, its the foundation for every lasting professional or customer relationship you create. Connection is so vital, in fact, that Ive seen missed opportunities to connect result inLost business when the sales team overwhel med a client with details of features and benefits and services and capabilities andShallow bench strength because the new vice president hadnt found her voice and the manager couldnt figure out how to move beyond his subject-matter expertise.Money wasted on town-hall meetings that didnt increase employee understanding, engagement or buy-in.If you could improve business presentations, what might be possible? Increased sales? Better financial standing? Deeper bench strength? More motivated and confident employees? All of this and more is possible when you discover how to connect and communicate on a higher level. The Talk on Water mindsetConnecting with your audience, whether during a one-on-one sales call, presenting market research to a group of eight stakeholders seated around a conference table or speaking to hundreds on a TEDx stage, starts with mindset. You simply cant connect with an audience of any size if you are plagued by self-doubt or putting on a facade that obscures your authenticity. Your audience will pick up on the subtle cues you are giving and respond accordingly.Rather than focusing on getting through a presentation, the best thinkers focus on developing a rapport with their audiences. They achieve this by keeping several foundational beliefs in mindYour audience is your biggest fan.A presentation is an enlarged conversation.Your audience wants connection, not perfection. There are enough ways for everyone to have their own.Ahead of your next powerhouse presentation, do your best to instill these foundational beliefs in your mind. This will put you well on your way to connecting with your audience. But dont forget that to get the results you are after, you also need to connect with yourself and with your message.Connect with yourself by knowing what you need to succeed. What will make you feel most confident in this presentation? How much time do you need to prepare? Who can you depend on for support as you prepare?Connect with your message by empathizing with your audience. You have one job while you are presenting to help your audience get it.Depending on your presenter profile, the it could be effectively communicating facts and sharing information about a new safety protocol (The Expert). Or the it could be sharing your startups business model and influencing venture capitalists to invest (The Interpreter). Or the it could be disrupting the status quo in the minds of your audience members and igniting change on a grand scale (The Catalyst). To achieve the results youre after, you must put yourself in your audiences shoes. The Presentation C.O.D.E.Once youve become aware of the Talk on Water mindset (Part 1) and figured out your presenter profile (Part 2), youre ready to start building your powerhouse presentation. The book presents a simple four-step process called the Presentation C.O.D.E (Part 3) to help with the nuts and bolts. Heres a quick overviewStep 1 Clarify your core message. Its important to keep your message s imple. I recommend asking yourself, If my audience takes away one key message, what does it need to be? Your goal will be for each person hearing your presentation to be able to repeat whatever your core message was at the end of your presentation.Step 2 Organize your content.Organization is key to helping your audience get it. Ask yourself how you can best segment your important content with a logical structure that maps back and supports your core message.Step 3 Develop your audio-visuals.Many presenters make the mistake of using audio-visuals in a distracting or overwhelming way. It can sometimes appear as if presenters are trying to hide behind their media. This impression is not the way to win over your audience Instead, consider how you can use audio-visuals to help your audience quickly grasp whats being discussed.Step 4 Express yourself and engage your audience.Never forget that you are best at being yourself. Rather than trying to imitate others or their captivating present ation styles, work to express yourself with ease, energy, and enthusiasm. If you can do this well, you will succeed in speaking with confidence. Skillful authenticity always results in a memorable presentation.Prepare for primetimeIn the fast-paced business world where everyone seems to want everything yesterday, preparing and rehearsing a presentation can seem like a luxury. But to achieve results in high-stakes presentations, practice is absolutely a necessity. What do I mean by practice? I want you to think of your presentation as a performance. Now, elsewhere Ive pushed back againstthe comparison between delivering a business presentation and giving a stage performance. But please allow me to explain.Theres no way an actress in a Broadway play would go out on stage without rehearsing adequately. To be stage-ready there are table read-throughs, off- and on-site rehearsals, partial and full rehearsals, dress rehearsals and technical rehearsals. If you are as prepared as an actress on Broadway, you are going to be your most confident and ready to achieve the results you desire. On average, it takes a business leader five focused practice sessions to be ready to seal the deal when it comes to high-stakes, career-defining presentations. I promise that, if you take the time to prepare, you will deliver a powerhouse presentation. You dont want to skimp on practice timeThe truth is, all business leaders are capable of giving a powerhouse presentation. All it takes is the right mindset, a well-crafted presentation with a strong core message and thorough preparation. These are all definitely within your graspBy far, the greatest key to success in any presentation is making connections that count. When you show up as your authentic self, the audience will respond positively and your message will have the lasting impact youre after. What strategies do you rely on when you want to talk on water?Stephanie Scotti is a strategic communication advisor specializing in high-st akes presentations. Can Where I Choose to Sit Affect my Professional Success

Can Where I Choose to Sit Affect my Professional Success Can Where I Choose to Sit Affect my Professional Success With so many different tips and tricks, sometimes it can be overwhelming trying to master the perfect formula and approach for interviewing success. We all know the universal rules of arriving at least 15 minutes early and following up after an interview just to reiterate your interest (along with thanking the interviewer for his/her time). And were all aware of how our appearance and body language can leave positive or negative impressions with hiring managers, ultimately affecting our employment success. But, did you know that besides the research, and showing up on time, and speaking with confidence, there is another area that could affect how successful you are during an interview- something most of us wouldnt even consider?According to furniture manufacturer Seats and Stools, candidates should consider this before their next interview Where should you sit?The company has created an infographic, Suits and Seats Where to Sit for Professional Success, which explains the relation between seats and professional geschftliches miteinander outcomes. And Seats and Stools even broke it down into four different business sitting scenarios.Lets take a look at how your seat can affect your professional lifeInterviews One-on-one interviewsIn a one-on-one interview scenario, the infographic advises you to sit opposite of the interviewer, which could make him/her feel intimidated. Candidates should wait to be asked to sit, and when they are seated, dont forget to sit up straight. The infographic advises to move your chair to be at eye level with the interviewer.Group interviewsIf you are interviewing with a group or panel, sit across from the group of interviewers. The infographic shows the best seat is directly in the middle if there are three people on the interview panel. The visual says to introduce yourself by giving your full name to everyone on the panel, make eye contact with the group, smile and show enthusiasm. Also, place your belongings on the floor, not the table.I agree with the point about introducing yourself to everyone. Once when I interviewed with a panel of three, I made it a point to introduce myself and shake each interviewers hand when I walked into the room. I could tell each person was impressed with this gesture.Brainstorming SessionWhen your gruppe in brainstorming, the infographic believes you should keep groups small for spontaneous thinking. The infographic has seats in a circle, advising to try creating a brainstorming circle of seats without a table for an informal group discussion that facilitates lively discussion. And dont forget to separate strong personalities by distance when placing chairs in this type of seating scenario.PresentationsOne-to-manyPresentations are a form of business communication that many of us will encounter. The infographic says to arrange seats in theater style with rows facing the speaker in a semi-circular pattern or herringbone pattern. Make sure you stagger the seats for maximum viewing. This setup, the infographic explains, is best for the presenter because there are fewer distractions and allows the audience to pay more attention. The best seat to sit in during a one-to-many presentation is toward the middle of the row and close to the front (typical best seat when going to an actual movie theater).Sales MeetingDuring a schlussverkauf meeting, the presenter should be at the front while the audience is at small tables. This banquet style approach to a sales meeting will help foster communication and keep the attention of the attendees.Business LunchNow, business lunches are extremely common- but according to the infographic- most of us who give no thought to where we or our clients sit may be missing out on the opportunity for maximum communication success. The best seating for a business lunch is a 4-top table in the quiet area of a restaurant with minima l noise and distractions, the infographic explains. If you and a colleague are hosting the lunch, sit next to each other on the corner of the table rather than across from each other. This way, according to the visual, both of you can have a client seated on the other corner next to you, allowing for intimate conversation. The infographic advises to subtly direct your client to the chair next to you once he or she arrives.I must admit, where I choose to sit affecting my professional life is an idea that never occurred to me before seeing this infographic. Yet, after viewing it, I can understand how ones seat can either hurt or help him/her in different business communication settings. What do you think? Is your choice of seat really a factor in professional business communication success?

Others will worry or think about finances, but only in very vague or general terms. Still, other prospective parents will focus instead only on whether they are emotionally ready for a child rather than on whether they are financially prepared. Ultimately, finances will be a major challenge for many families in the United States, where approximately 20% of children live in poverty.Couples do not need to have everything figured out. Many decisions are tentative and will change as the facts and circumstances emerge. However, there is a middle ground in which pa rents have the needed information and have a preliminary framework as far as finances as they seek to build their families, Meyers told the site.
